Can I See an Emergency Dentist During COVID-19?

If you’re in pain or experiencing a dental emergency, Central Valley Dentistry is here to help. Our practice is currently open for emergency treatments as well as some routine dental procedures. Ultimately, we want to get you out of pain as quickly as possible.

Does it count as an emergency? Let our Phoenix dentist know if you’re experiencing:

  • Severe tooth pain
  • Swelling in your mouth
  • A visible abscess
  • Broken tooth
  • Knocked out teeth
  • Cracked denture or partial
  • Bleeding
  • Pain when you’re eating

Any time your situation prevents you from doing normal daily activities, it’s usually considered a dental emergency. After all, you need to be able to eat, drink, and talk! If you wouldn’t be able to go to work or school with the condition, then we should treat it as soon as possible.

Our Phoenix Dentist is Open

Central Valley Dentistry provides same-day emergency dental care to new and existing patients. We ask that if you’re in pain, you call our office directly. Please do not walk in to make an appointment, as we are trying our best to ensure appropriate social distancing.

When you call, our receptionist will discuss the situation with you and find the best time for you to arrive at our office. In most cases, we’ll do our best to see you within the next 1-2 hours. Most emergencies are best treated within the hour (especially if it’s a knocked-out tooth.) Please do not bring any additional guests with you unless it is necessary, such as a parent accompanying their child.

Dental Treatment | Pandemic Protocols

Emergency dentistry treatment is one of the most important services that we’re able to provide at this time. Central Valley Dentistry is following all CDC, NIH, ADA, and state regulations in regard to providing safe care to our patients. This includes adapting PPE needs, conducting thorough medical screenings, and changing the way we schedule our appointments.

We’ve also removed “touchable” items like magazines, books, or other surfaces that are frequently handled. That way we can minimize the areas that need to be disinfected and prevent cross-contamination.

Adapting to Your Needs

Providing personalized dentistry is something that makes Central Valley Dentistry unique. Dr. Behbahani works closely with each individual to provide the services they want, need, or will require in the future. Whether it’s a smile makeover or treating a dental emergency, we’re committed to keeping you safe and healthy.

If for any reason you’re not comfortable getting back in public yet, we understand. Please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. In the meantime, we’ll be adjusting our schedule to allow for optimal social distancing and disinfection. We will contact you to confirm your scheduled procedure and ask that you arrive on time, to allow for these extra levels of protocols.

If you’re looking for a dentist that’s open in Phoenix, call us today! Dr. Behbahani is currently seeing new and existing emergency patients.
