All on 4 Denture Procedure and Costs

In Phoenix, Arizona there are a few replacement options available for people who are missing all of their teeth or need to have all of their remaining ones pulled.

Getting individual implants seems like the perfect solution, but the cost of doing an entire arch could mean a lot of planning and budgeting. Luckily there’s an alternative method called all-on-four, which is a very effective way of replacing all of your teeth at one time!

What Is All-On-Four?

The “all” in all-on-four refers to all of your teeth (in the upper or lower arch) and the “four” pertains to the number of implants. With the use of a special denture appliance and the balance of physics, this system allows for all of your teeth to be supported by four implants.

Unlike snap on dentures that use buttons to clip your teeth in place, an all-on-four appliance is permanently fixed to your implants so that you don’t have to take it out. That’s not to say that it can’t come out.  Our Phoenix dentist has special tools necessary to remove your all-on-four denture if needed.

What Are the Steps To Getting An All-On-Four Denture?

The very first step in getting your new set of teeth is determining if you’re a good candidate for this procedure.  During your consultation, we’ll assess your overall health and the condition of your teeth and gums. We may take some individual x-rays of your teeth, as well as some digital photos and a couple of dental impressions of a 3-D digital scan.  Most importantly, we’ll take a cat scan that will show us your bone, nerves, and other anatomy as we examine them to determine if you’re a good fit for this procedure. If we decide that you can in fact have this procedure done successfully, then you’ll return for the surgery on a different day.

On the day of your implant placement, we’ll remove any remaining teeth that you have and place the implants within the bone. Once that step is complete, we’ll fit you with a temporary denture that you’ll wear while your implants are in their integration stage. Typically, it takes three months or so for your implants to be completely fused within the bone. When they do, you’ll come in and we can prepare them to support your permanent appliance.

What Is the Cost of All-On-Four?

The average cost of getting an all-on-four denture in Phoenix, Arizona starts at $17,999, which includes a FREE Consutlation and FREE CT Scan. This includes the four implants, your provisional denture, the final denture, and all of the attachments that are used to securely fix the teeth to your implants. Flexible payment options are available for every budget!
